F.A.C.E.S., a non profit agency in Southern California, was founded in 1988 by three women. These child advocates had a vision to create safe places for children, and to help parents struggling with separation and divorce by providing counseling and other family and educational services.
In its 20th year, F.A.C.E.S. has five family services centers serving children in single parent homes. The sites are teaching clinics, providing excellent internship opportunities for mental health professionals who learn specific skills in working with the court systems and families.
